From Signal Hill Road
Signal Hill Road is a well-maintained gravel road, located on the West side of HWY 20 between Winthrop and Twisp, just 0.1 mi North of highway mile marker 198.
Sometimes the mile post sign falls down, but you can use other mile markers to find your way—the miles increase proceeding South from Winthrop towards Twisp.
Once you turn onto Signal Hill Road, immediately take the first right fork and then stay on the main path for a total of 1.5 miles.
You will veer past four other driveways on the way up to Signal Hill Ranch at the top of the hill. If you come to anything that doesn't look like a big log cabin, you aren't at the top—turn around and take a different fork that leads higher (see detailed map).
